Derek and Raymart in another tiff?

MANILA,Philippines- Model-actor Derek Ramsay has bashed off intrigues that he and actor Raymart Santiago are in the middle of a serious rift.

Ramsay and Santiago were dragged into a conflict between respective partners Angelica Panganiban and Claudine Barretto who fought over a nasty rumor which started in microblogging site, Twitter.

Ramsay, in an interview with Showbiz News Ngayon, said that he and Santiago have kept themselves from being involved in the issue and have opted to remain friends despite their partners’ misunderstanding.

“Kami ni Raymart nag-usap kami over the phone a while back, when at its peak. Raymart and I were civil, we were okay. Iyon ang eksaktong sinabi namin na sana maayos na lang ito,” said Derek.

The hunk actor also hoped that the Angelica-Claudine "tiff" will soon be put to rest as he revealed that he and his girlfriend already moved on with the controversy.

“Wala na iyong issue tungkol doon. Tahimik na eh. I don’t want to have gulo in our lives, and gulo in their lives, Hopefully, it’s over and done with,” he added.

B'day gift for Angel

Meanwhile, after clinching the championship at the Ultimate Frisbee Hongkong Open, Ramsay and Panganiban took time to bond for a while and have their intimate moments in another Asian country.

Ramsay also revealed his simple gift for his girlfriend who will be celebrating her 24th birthday on Thursday.

“I got her lang a wallet and a pair of shoes that she really wanted. She got me, ‘coz my birthday is around the corner, binili niya ako ng putter, Like I said hindi naman kami, iyong halaga that counts. There are times that I’ll go out of my way to give her something really big and she asked what I wanted, I said I want a golf putter and that’s what she got me for my birthday,” he ended.
