SN-ABOITIZ POWER GROUP will undertake a feasibility study for the planned expansion of the Magat hydroelectric power plant in Isabela.
In a statement on Tuesday, SN-Aboitiz said it has signed an agreement with the National Irrigation Administration to facilitate "the gathering of information" for the capacity expansion of the plant.
The company wants to increase the capacity of Magat to 540 megawatts (MW) from 360 MW. -- Emilia Narni J. David
