MANILA, Philippines – Apl De Ap of the Black Eyed Peas arrived in Manila Friday morning to hold several charity concerts in Cebu, Manila and Pampanga.
Apl De Ap (Allan Pineda) earlier confirmed that he is doing several charity concerts as well as organize a foundation for street children.
“This Christmas I’m doing a charity tour. I’m on my way to Cebu now...it’s my first show in Cebu, the next one will be in Manila on the 22nd sa Club Republique and sa pasko on December 25th. I’m just here to spend Christmas and do my charity tour,” Apl told the media.
He also shared how he loves to be in the Philippines especially during the Christmas season.
“I’m happy to be home this Christmas. It’s a yearly thing that I do. I’d like to spend time with my family on Christmas day...it’s just the feeling of Christmas in the Philippines is different anywhere else,” he related.
The beneficiaries of his charity tour are the Rotary Club of Rizal West and the Philippine General Hospital.
