MANILA, Philippines – The lead vocalist of American rock/pop band “Gin Blossoms” sees no reason why international singing sensation Charice can’t pose sexy for a men’s magazine.
"She’s extraordinary hot and we look forward to her Maxim magazine cover," Robin Wilson said during a press conference for his band's upcoming concerts in the Philippines.
Charice’s “Glee” co-stars, Dianna Agron and Lea Michele, have already posed sexy for GQ magazine, sparking mixed reactions from the hit American TV series’s followers worldwide.
After their controversial photos came out, the 18-year-old Filipino singer was asked if she was willing to follow in Agron and Michele’s footsteps during a press conference for “David Foster & Friends” show in Manila in October.
But before she could answer, her mentor, David Foster, abruptly ended the presscon.
“Okay that’s the answer, sorry. Salamat po,” Charice lightheartedly said.
Meanwhile, Gin Blossoms also congratulated boxing champion Manny Pacquiao after his victory over Mexican fighter Antonio Margarito.
"Congratulations! You're the best, you really are. He's amazing," said guitarist Jesse Valenzuela.
Other members of Gin Blossoms are Scott Johnson (rhythm guitar), Bill Leen (bass) and John Richardson (drums).
The group will perform on Thursday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City and in Cebu province on November 20.
