DAVAO CITY, Philippines – World boxing sensation and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao vowed to facilitate the construction of the first provincial hospital in his province.
Pacquiao made the promise upon his arrival in Sarangani last Thursday where he was given a hero’s welcome by his constituents for winning his eighth boxing title against Mexico’s Antonio Margarito recently.
Pacquiao told his constituents that President Aquino had pledged P200 million for the construction of the provincial hospital in Alabel town.
Pacquiao added that he was also able to get eight ambulances from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.
