MANILA, Philippines - With a miniature Christmas village right in his own home, it's almost Christmas every day in the house of artist Bamboo Tonogbanua in Bacolod.

And it's no small Christmas village. The collection, which has been featured on TV and in newspapers, has grown so big that it would take a person a whole hour to view it all.

Tonogbanua said collecting the homes and other elements for his Christmas village is really his hobby. He has been collecting the novelty items for the village since 1995. (See story here.)

Among the interesting things in his collection is the "fairy tale" Christmas city which depicts how Christmas is celebrated in fairy tale land.

Tonogbanua said nothing compares to the joy he feels whenever he looks at his Christmas village.

And he doesn't mind sharing this joy with others. This year, as in past years, visitors, both Bacolod residents and tourists alike, are welcome to visit his Christmas village on San Juan Street in the heart of Bacolod City daily from 6 to 9 p.m. -- Report by Mark Salanga, ABS-CBN Bacolod
