MANILA, Philippines- Rumors of actress Bea Alonzo and actor Zanjoe Marudo dating are rife as reports of them being sighted together now abound.
In an online post, for instance, entertainment writer Jun Lalin reported that Alonzo and Marudo were spotted together inside a Makati mall on Christmas day.
Actress-television host Toni Gonzaga also spilled the beans on "The Buzz."
Gonzaga said: “Sa Metrowalk kasi after ng party ng ‘My Amnesia Girl,’ we all went to Metrowalk doon sa bar ni Atoy Co. Sobrang dami ng tao, doon lang kami sa labas. Aalis na ako, parating na si John Lloyd (Cruz), ni-report sa akin ng mga tao do’n, ‘Guess what kung sino ang mga taong naki-party sa atin?’ Si Bea and si Zanjoe din daw."
Showbiz insiders also revealed that Marudo was Alonzo's date during "Magkaribal's" cast party.
Though the two maintained their silence on the issue, Alonzo, in an interview with Pilipino Star Ngayon, said they are just friends.
In November, Alonzo was rumored to be the cause of Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu's alleged break-up. Anderson later admitted that he dated Alonzo, but they decided to remain just friends.
Marudo, on the other hand, was the former boyfriend of actress-host Mariel Rodriguez, who is now married to action star Robin Padilla. The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate was also linked to his on-screen partner Cristine Reyes.
