abs-cbnNEWS.comMANILA, Philippines - Nike aims to help sports-loving Filipinos celebrate Christmas in style by offering new and limited edition merchandise.
Thirty-five pairs of the Nike LeBron 8 South Beach edition, designed for Miami Heat star player LeBron James, will be available through lottery on Saturday (November 27) at Titan in Taguig City.
The shoe, which takes into account the colorful lifestyle of Miami, will retail for P7,995.
"The special edition Nike LeBron 8 South Beach has a teal and black scheme that represents the bright light, fast living lifestyle of the Miami area," Nike Philippines said in a statement.
It added, "(The shoe) is built on a basketball specific Max Air 360 unit, combined with Flywire technology, for the ultimate cushioning with lightweight comfort and lockdown."
Another Nike shoe to be unveiled just in time for the holidays is the LunarEclipse+, which promises to deliver premium cushioning, comfort and runner-specific support.
Said to be ideal for a wide range of runners, the daily distance trainers are priced at P6,495 a pair.
Nike limited edition hooded jackets, or hoodies, will also be launched in December, a month characterized by colder temperatures.
Called AW77, the hoodies will be worn by Chicosci on December 1 at Nike Park, The Fort as the local rock band promotes its latest album, Fly Black Hearts.
"The AW77 comes in 21 different colorways to inspire the youth to break the mold and create their own tailored look," Nike Philippines said.
The hoodies, priced at P4,295 each, will be exclusively available at Nike Park, The Fort starting next month.
